In Term 2, Year 10 students and students from other year levels that don't have the Literacy and Numeracy co-requisite sat the Reading and Writing Common Assessment Activity exams.  Reading results have recently been published and overall, we are very pleased with student results.  The Writing results will be published by NZQA in the coming weeks.

Students that have yet to gain the Literacy | Numeracy co-requisite will have another chance to sit the exam in the window of the 9th to 20th of September.  As well as the Reading and Writing exam, we will also be running the Numeracy exam within this window for Year 10 students and all other students requiring the co-requisite.

Students are being prepared in classes but we would encourage you to open the conversation at home about these exams as well.  If you'd like more detailed information about these co-requisites please feel free to get in contact with your child's Maths or English teacher.

If you want to find out more about the NCEA co-requisite or about how NCEA works, feel free to join a short presentation about NCEA on our in person Parent - Teacher evening.  The presentation will be held in the college staffroom on August the 13th at 5pm.
