Donations and Fee Payments
Our annual School Donation is $175 for one student or $250 for two or more students from the same family.
The Technology Fee is $20 per term or $80 per year, which helps cover the cost of consumable items in the Food, Textiles, Hard Materials and Visual Art programme.
How to pay:
Our preferred method for all payments at Newlands Intermediate School is KINDO. And we encourage you to set up your family account and make full or part payment of the School Donation and Technology Fees. Please find access links below.

Please note you must use the same email address that our school has on file or you will not be able to access all payment options in KINDO.

Kindo can be downloaded from the Apple App store or Google play by searching “myKindo”.
Payment: There are a number of ways you can choose to to-up your account. Kindo has free payment options including POLi or Bank Transfers (which take 2 days). You can also pay by credit/debit card which incurs a 2.5% + 50c service fee.

School Lunches
These are provided by EZ Lunch and can be ordered and paid for using your Kindo account.
Claiming back your Donation rebate
You can claim back 33.33c for every dollar you spend on donations (where donations are greater than $5). Here’s how to find our school donation receipts for this years’ tax rebate claim:
Log in to myKindo.co.nz and go to My Orders.
Choose record type ‘Donation Receipts’.
Set the date range
Select Download Summary for IRD tax return to get a PDF document suitable for attaching to your tax return (containing all school donation amounts paid in the year). Individual donation receipts can also be downloaded as required, or several can be selected and downloaded into a zip file.
NOTE: Kindo cannot change the details on your donation receipt, so please ensure your Account Holder name is correct BEFORE paying any donations. Donation receipts will only be issued for items that the school has nominated as ‘donation receipt required’.
