Baffling Brownies
Temperatures rise in the kitchen.
During lockdown my sister and I tried to make brownies! The photo shows our second attempt at making them. The recipe said to preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, (which is 175 degrees celsius), but on our first endeavour, we accidentally set the oven to 350 degrees celsius. The brownies burnt to smithereens. The second time, after correcting the temperature, the batter smelt and tasted like marmite; the end product ended up tasting like chewy chocolate cake. Luckily, it tasted great!
