Last month Newlands Intermediate student leaders went to Te Rauparaha Arena to celebrate and to learn more about being a leader. We enjoyed it a lot because the speakers were very interesting and got our leaders immersed into their story. They inspired us to be more active and to have more passion for what we do. The cafe was open so at lunch lots of people headed there and bought food, drinks and ice cream. Overall it was a fun day with lots of activities and games but we learnt about leadership and important traits to have in order to be a successful leader.
