Principal's Message
As we come to the end of a busy term, we are thrilled to share the wonderful progress happening across our school!
Kia ora e te whānau,
It has been a successful term of learning, both in the classroom and in the tech space, where students have been exploring new skills and challenges with enthusiasm. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first term getting to learn and see the school in action. I have tried to be visible to our students so they can see I'm truly interested and care about their learning.
Our sporting events have also been a highlight, showcasing teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. A big congratulations to all our students who participated—you have done yourself and us proud! I look forward to getting out to sporting events in term two. I also want to acknowledge all the work that goes on in the background to ensure these events take place.
Looking ahead, we are well underway with preparations for our school production, which will take center stage in Week 8 of Term 2. The creativity and dedication from students and staff can be clearly seen, and we can’t wait to see it all come together. Watching our rangatahi participate in a variety of areas and shine in these areas is always exciting.
Sarah Blom will be the classroom teacher for room 9 starting next term and we wish her all the best. Emma Crivello will be the .6 release teacher for term two.
Thank you for your ongoing support—we appreciate our wonderful school community and all that you do to make learning and growth possible for our students.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable break when the time comes!
Ngā mihi nui
