The festival is an annual event held in the Northern Suburbs to showcase Kapa Haka.

Last Saturday, 16 September, Te Roopu Kapa Haka o te Kura Waenga o Horokiwi (Newlands Intermediate) took to the atamira (stage) to showcase their developing skills in Ngā Mahi a Te Rēhia (Māori Performing Arts).
