On the 8th of March, our syndicate, Tūmanako, went on a trip to Ākau Tangi.

My friend and I were put in group 5. We went on a bus to the sports centre. We started with dodgeball; it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves. 

Secondly, we did tripball. We had to bounce the ball against a net. It was fun even though we weren’t very good at it. Then we did floorball. Although we were bad at it, we had great fun! 

After floorball, we did badminton, but Alina pulled her leg so badly that she had to sit out for the rest of the trip. Then, I played volleyball. It wasn’t as fun because Alina got hurt, so I had to pair up with someone else. 

Finally, our group did Futsal. We had to try to score goals and our team lost but we still had a lot of fun.

 When we got back to class, we were very tired but we had enjoyed ourselves. Out of all the activities, our favourite game was dodgeball.
