Trying to get Better at Drawing

I am trying to improve how to draw. I'm using pencils right now because it is one of the resources I'd like to get better at using.

This is my Personal Project in class this term. At home I like drawing and sketching and sometimes I take art classes out of school. When I found out that I could do my own choice of project I chose drawing because I love it. It's so creative and interesting and you can use different techniques and different styles.

The dragon sketch is the first one I did before I researched more about how to draw. I got the idea of the dragon because they are mythical and not like regular animals. They have interesting shapes too.

The cat sketch is finding how to use realism. So I am learning how to draw the fur so it looks textured. I kind of think how a real cat's fur is like and it's not just straight lines. There are wavy lines too. I am using a video that teaches me how to draw.

"This is enjoyable for me because I like drawing. I don't have to copy things either, I can add my own details and designs."
