On Wednesday 25th October, we, Room 1 went to Keith Spray Pool for our first session of snorkelling with our Mountain To Sea instructors.

Our class reached there by bus after which Mr Simons took the roll and split us into two groups as we were a big class. We learned to swim in the snorkelling equipment, which included the mask, snorkel and flippers. Our instructors, Joe, Jorge and Leila, were very friendly. They helped us to perfect our snorkelling by giving us helpful tips to answer our doubts and questions. 

One thing that was challenging for me was to blow out water from the snorkel after coming to the surface as I was told to always breathe out water when we were underwater in my swimming class. 

My group got to play later and luckily we also got to go on the diving board. I enjoyed my free time with my friend when we were treading water, diving and racing across the pool. 

At around noon we changed and headed back to school. It was a very fun experience and our class is very excited to snorkel and explore the ocean with the Mountain To Sea instructors.
