What an awesome skill. You can fix and make anything when you learn how to sew.

This year at Newlands Intermediate we started a new tech called textiles. In this class, we learnt how to sew and learnt a range of different stitches like back stitch, blanket stitch, running stitch, and more. We also learnt how to use a sewing machine. It was terrifying at first but as we practised more it got fun. For some of us it was the first time using a sewing machine. In our first two sessions we all made pillows.  All of the pillows we made were so different and unique.
