  • What face to face contexts appear to be challenging online?
  • What strategies can be used to identify alternative ways of teaching these areas online? Let's problem solve...

Facilitors: Sara Field (Volcanics), Sue McCarthny (HabourNet and Orewa College), Lucie Lindsay (VLN Primary)

Time: 3.30 pm Thursday 7 May. This is a 30 minute session with time for Q&A

Content: Teaching online provides an opportunity to develop a very creative, adaptive mindset. There are elements of the face to face context that require us to think outside of the box and problem solve. Almost any aspect of face to face learning can translate online, it is just a matter of finding the right mechanisms. For example how do you take a Drama course online? Surely, that would be difficult? Or what about Dance?

This workshop will explore the approaches we can take to problem solve and find ways to adapt the face to face context, online.
