EARLY MORNING ARRIVALS

Neil Fraser —

We often find students wondering into school before 08:00 a.m. in the morning - and in some instances, before 7:30 a.m. In some instances students are arriving very early to catch up with their mates.

And when this happens, the children are being put at risk as no-one is aware of their arrival, or available to supervise them, and leading to behavioural issues.

Although there may be a car or two parked in the staff carpark at that time, our staff will be in meetings, or busy with preparation and planning.

We therefore kindly request parents/caregivers, for the safety of the children and allowing teachers to finish their meetings/planning etc:

  • Not to drop any child off at school before 08:15 a.m., and
  • If you need to drop your child off before 8:15 a.m. to go work, or for an appointment, please
    • Send us a note so that we are aware of your child's arrival the following morning
    • And ensure that your child/ren come straight to the school office.
