KEREPEHI MARAE VISIT
Tuesday 2 April 2019
We are taking the Whenua and Moana students to visit the Kerepehi Marae as part of our Term One’s learning of Being Me which includes who we are, our heritage and where we come from.
We are leaving school by 9.20 am and we are returning to Ngatea School approximately 2.40 pm.
Please complete the form given to your child/ren permission to attend this trip or contact the office if you require another form.
We are travelling to and from by buses and cars. If you are able to help with transport by taking a car please complete the appropriate section on the form. This will enable other children to go by bus.
We will need parents to accompany us and help supervise groups as we move through the activities planned. The activities will be teacher lead, with parents assisting. Our parents will need to make sure the students move sensibly to each activity and help the students join in.
If you are able to help with supervision, please complete the form.
The cost for this trip will be $10 per student. (If you paid the $10 with your child’s fees, then the cost is covered. If you did not pay this fee, we will inform you that you will need to pay.)
The students will need to take
their lunch and drink bottle (morning tea is provided)
a sun hat
tidy school uniform and covered shoes
