ALERT LEVEL 2

Neil Fraser —

Thank you to the vast majority of our parents and caregivers who support us in meeting these guidelines. You are all playing an important role in keeping our students, staff and community safe.

Schools are governed by strict Alert L2 guidelines that are set by the Ministry of Education, in advice of the MOH. We all have an important role to play to ensure that we can return back to Alert Level 1 as soon as possible

While social distancing simply does not work in a primary school, we do have several guidelines in place to help keep our school environment a safe place for everyone:

  • Students and staff are encourage to wash and sanitise their hands regularly throughout the day.
  • All our learning spaces and sport equipment is sanitised every day.
  • If your child is sick, please keep him/her at home. It is important that we do not put other students or our staff at risk.
  • Any adult feeling ill should not be entering the school grounds at all.
  • Contact tracing is of utmost importance under Alert L 2. Every adult coming onto our school grounds must sign in at the school office. Please do not enter any learning space before signing in at the office.
  • Face masks is not a requirement under Alert L2 at schools, nor on school buses.
