Kua tata ka tae mai te Hakari Kirihimete!

Noku Te Ao —

There is no denying it anymore - Kirihimete is just around the corner -and this is what we are doing for our Hakari Kirihimete 2023! New - check at the end of the pānui for Plan B (wet weather plan)

Date: Friday, November 24th at Te Oraka. (Drop off is at the end of Birchfield Avenue -see map attached).

Tamariki will need to wear sensible shoes and have a spare set of kakahu as well as something warm just in case.

We will be having a shared party kai - but it needs to be kai that does not require heating up please.

Te Oraka is great for zooming around so if they want could tamariki bring in their bikes from home, or maybe a favourite toy.

If your tamaiti is not booked in for the day (Rāmere) and you would like them to attend, kei te pai but you will need to stay with them to supervise them 🙂

We are hoping to add in a barbeque lunch and all sorts of activities on the day. This will mean mātua will need to drop their tamariki off and pick them up at Te Oraka in the Red Zone that day - for those at the Mairehau centre who do the 8-5 day, this day will be an 8-3 day - all tamariki to be picked up from Te Oraka at 3pm.

PLAN B - if it rains (weather forecast is not too flash) we will be having our party at the Mairehau centre - we will let whānau know by 8am - Check Facebook!!

Ngā mihi.
