Northcote Office —

Dear parents/ Caregivers

We are having a busy term and the children have had a great time with their learning!

A big thank you to the helpers who were available to support our students during our visit to the Art Gallery. It was unfortunate that the weather was not on our side for us to visit the other places we had planned

We are having a busy term and the children have had a great time with their learning!

A big thank you to the helpers who were available to support our students during our visit to the Art Gallery. It was unfortunate that the weather was not on our side for us to visit the other places we had planned.

Our Year 5 and 6’s had a great time at the Duffy Role Model Assembly held at the Town Hall. Students represented our school and showed our school values Mia (courage), Ukāipotanga (Belonging) and Aroha (heart). As the case was with Rawinia on stage.

Year 6 Camp - Camps of this nature require parent support to become possible. Thank you to those parents or caregivers who are able and willing to give up their time. Our Camp helpers are Carrie, Rose, Tiaan, Madam Koh and Mr Rapson. Thank you also to Karl and Mr Turner who are helping us get to camp and back again. Camp is Monday 16th September to Wednesday 18th September.

We still have a number of Medical forms to be returned that are required for us to attend camp. This is now urgent! Please hand all money to the office or put into the bank account  03 0855 0335359 00 with your child name

Mufti Day

All the children enjoyed the whole school mufti day and had a great time at the wonderful dance party! Thanks to the PTA for organising it!

The tamariki in Paerangi had their very own olympics.  They played lots of games, made medals, torches and fun crafty things.

Paerangi 1 was lucky enough to have a student kaiako again this term from the University of Canterbury. Miss April Bonney was with us for the first five weeks and we had so much fun together! Miss Bonney taught us lots over her time with us and we are sure we will see her again soon.
