PJ day at the pool
Last Friday at swimming the children were asked to come along wearing pyjamas. This was so the children could feel what it is like to be in water wearing clothes. It is very different to wearing togs. Often we are around water in normal everyday clothes-it’s important to know how it would feel if we ended up accidentally fully clothed in the water. This was a new and fun experience for our tamariki. They all said the pyjamas were heavy and sticky and didn’t like wearing them in the pool.
