Last week we were fortunate to welcome the Rt. Hon Chris Hipkins, Leader of the Opposition to our kura. After a wonderful welcome from our Kapahaka group he wanted to ask some of our students and staff about the impact of school lunches and if we felt they made a difference to our tamariki. 

Our students were amazing at articulating their thoughts about the lunches and gave Chris a real insight into the impact the lunches have on them on a daily basis. 

Chris then helped to deliver the lunches to a couple of classrooms and handed some out to our tamariki.
