Autumn’s End

Year 7/8 Hail —

All the leaves started to fall to the ground, the crunchy ones trying not to make a sound, there are a variety of different colours, like brown, red and gold, all crumbled up, and looking very, very old, you can see them blowing in the big tall trees, whenever there is a light, calm breeze,

Then the dimmer days develop, taking away all the light, well at least I don’t have to wear sunglasses, because it won’t be very bright! The wind whistles a calming tune, as the kids in the park hold on to their coloured balloons, then a whirl of leaves zoom in your face, jeez autumn’s such a disgrace!

When all the kids come out to play, it is yet another cold, wet day! It carried on like this for ages and ages, it felt like we were animals locked in our cages! Everyone wished that autumn would stop, so they didn’t have to get up at 5 o’clock!

But then it came to the very last week, and there was no sounds, not even a squeak! The wind had died down and there were not many leaves, and we all know autumn’s everyone’s pet-peeve, finally everyone came out to play, because there was some shining light during the day.
