Elshke Chadinha

Hi there!! I am Elshke Chadinha, a year 2 teacher, and I teach the amazing Room 21. I grew up in South Africa and moved to New Zealand with my family when I was 17 years old. I attended Cashmere High and straight after attended University of Canterbury where I completed my Bachelors and Honours in Primary Education, as well as my Masters in Education.

I love spending time with my son Ethan, and my partner Marc. We spend our weekends doing family activities. I love going for walks, doing arts and crafts and shopping of course!

I had been relieving for 2 years before I started working at Oaklands where I taught year 3's last year. This year I have helped out with the Junior Choir, organise the lost property and run the writers workshop. Feel free to pop in and say hello!
