As with every term, it's been a busy one, with a visit to Travis Wetlands as part of our integrated learning, passion projects including the Rocket Challenge, as well as our regular classroom programmes. Here are some of our highlights.

We value student voice in hub 6, and a number of students have shared their thoughts on the term.

I really enjoyed the Rocket Challenge because my team is going well. We have all the stuff to launch our rocket. We did lots of tests like putting a piece of string and tying it, and swinging it around, to see if we need to add more stuff. In week 10 we are going to Westlake Park to launch our rockets.    -  Conlan

I really enjoyed fitness because some days we got to do games and some we didn't. But I won't complain because we still got to go out and do some running/relays and activities. For example we did the beep test today. I also really enjoy doing winter sports because I'm in the A team for netball.    Bella

I have enjoyed all of the sporting options throughout the term. - Caleb

I have enjoyed the Rocket Challenge-It was very exciting to watch the launches, one launch even went over the fence. - Scarlett

I have really enjoyed Integrated learning because I like learning about habitats, painting and picking animals you can pick out that are introduced, native and endemic. I also enjoyed winter sports because I love the sport.   -  Esther

I have enjoyed integrated learning, winter sport, art. I enjoyed the rocket challenge because we got to make a rocket and fly it off a launch pad.  - Cody

I really enjoyed integrated learning because I love art and I enjoy painting; it’s a strong spot for me. I also enjoy drawing which it also involved, I love drawing animals and landscapes so this was perfect. - Eva

This term I enjoyed sport. I got into the hockey B team with Greer, Sophie W and Lily T. I also play basketball on Wednesday night. Even though we have not won a game in hockey, we still tried are best. - Mira

This team has been full of fun with The Rocket Challenge. It is so fun what we have to do is we get a soda bottle and then we go through steps to create a ‘rocket’. Then we can decorate it. - Zoe

This term I enjoyed sport. I got into a Hockey team for winter sport. Also I am doing basketball on Wednesdays after school. For Hockey I am in the B team. My basketball team name is Thunder. At hockey we play on grass but sometimes we play on turf. We play at Pioneer and Catholic Cathedral school for basketball. - Lily T

This term has been full of stuff. I’ve really enjoyed passion project because I am an “A” Which means I can manage myself without a teacher's help. I’ve also enjoyed hockey. Hockey is a great sport. We have been doing hockey in winter sport every Friday. I got into a B  - team. Being in a hockey team is awesome. thank you for reading my highlights. bye - Sophie W

I have really enjoyed Passion Project this term because I am an “A” which means I can manage myself and finish the slide to a high advanced standard. I have also enjoyed winter sport because I got into the “A “ team for hockey. Every Friday we go to Nunweek park and play a game of hockey. Also I love that I am doing basketball. I am in the thunder with me Lily and Mira. - Greer
