Year 7&8 Technology fun!
Our Year 7&8 students are getting creative and having a lot of fun in the process.
Each week our Year 7&8 students are fortunate enough to travel to Lincoln Technology centre to take part in a fantastic technology programme.
Below are a range of photos showing the creative, fun and innovative things the students have been designing and making this term. The students are taught how to plan using a brief and then they are given the freedom to design and make their own creations!
Last week, students doing food technology designed their own menu and made it - the sushi looked so delicious :)
I am loving the designs coming out of e-textiles too. One student made a very cute and comfy cat bed ... I bet her cat loved it. Another student is making a star wars cushion, which I must say is very cool.
The creatively in design and innovation is fantastic. Some students are doing carvings out of limestone, which others are using wood for all types of things. I have seen a great Father's day present, a very useful storage box, an earring holder and a clock being made last week.
This week, students are moving onto a new rotation where I can't wait to see where their creativity takes them.
