Bottle of Vintage Air. Unopened since 1950!

Sick of breathing today's air? Then let me take you back to 1950, it’s Vintage Air in a jar. It has been meticulously looked after every year. It has been taken off the shelf, polished and turned a little bit to prevent wear and tear, there is no dust or anything on it. Worried about being a second hand owner? Don’t worry, nobody’s actually owned it. If you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to message us at aysha@secondhandstuff.com

Number Talks

We begin our Numeracy sessions with Number Talks where students work in small groups to solve a posed question that has multiple ways to be answered. Groups discuss their thinking and share their ideas with each other.

Cordell - I like doing the problems in Number Talks because I get to work with my friends. I like that we can talk about the problem and help each other solve it.

Harley - Number Talks is fun because we learn new things. Sometimes the problems are really hard but when working in a group we can help each other.

What number carpark is the car parked in?

Technology

Issy - I am in Food Technology at the moment. It is interesting to learn about different tricks when you are cooking, it has made me think about what I have been doing wrong.

Emma - In Science we have been looking at bugs through the microscopes. I found it interesting because some of them were very cool to look at and some of them were very yucky.
