It is great to see so many learning opportunities through out the school this term.  

With a short term of only 9 weeks our teachers and staff are working through a number of programmes and activities.  I was so proud of our Senior Kapahaka Performance last night at the Horncastle Arena.  Mrs Baker and Mr Brown have done an amazing job and put in many extra hours to support our students. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated teachers.

Our year 4, 5, 6 classes are completing swimming lessons, our Kakano classes are having cricket tuition, our students are performing at the opening of our local rest home and our Kauri Talent Show is on this term.  It is great to see our students participating in so many activities.

It is with sadness we farewell Mrs Birdling and her last day will be on Friday. On behalf of all the students, staff and parents I would like to thank her for her enthusiasm, commitment in helping everyone. We will miss her bubbly nature.
