Gala Information and Week 8 Highlights
The end of the term is fast approaching! Week 8 has been a busy one with lots of highlights to pick from. We have loved using the swimming pool, especially in this hot weather! Make sure togs are packed, as we are now able to swim in our pool at morning tea. We have finally finished our amazing novels in Writing and will be getting our published copy soon!
We have also had lots of fun preparing for the Gala! We've been busy making leis to go with our costume and we've been practicing our performance every day!
In case you have missed earlier notices or blog posts about the Gala, here is some information.
Gala night - 4:30pm - 5:30pm (performances)
5:30pm - 8:00pm (rides, food, other
performances and lots of fun)
Can all hub 2 students please come to the Gala in a black shirt and any type of shorts/pants/skirt. Students need to arrive at 4:15pm in 14a to meet their whānau teacher and get ready for the Gala. Once you drop your child off you can go find a seat.
Children have been instructed to stay where they are after the performances until they are collected by a parent. We ask that younger brothers and sisters sit in the audience during the performances, rather than with Hub 2 students.
When you collect your child please let their whānau teacher know you are taking them.
