Transition Days

 We have had school wide Transition Days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week to support our transition into 2019 classes. 

During this time...

The Year 6 and 7 students have spent time getting to know each other in preparation for joining year levels in the 7/8 Hub in 2019. We have been very impressed with how the students have collaborated together over the last 3 days. 

The leavers have spent time making gratitude videos, playing games, baking, visual art, flax weaving and more. 

Tabloids

We finished the week with a Tabloid afternoon. The Year 7/8 Hub rotated around 3 activities; numbers basketball, volleyball and hockey. The Kauri team finished off the afternoon with a Tug-O-War competition - a fun way to end the week!

Each afternoon Year 7 students will be selling chocolates outside the Year 7/8 Hub from 3.00 - 3.10pm. Chocolates can be bought for $2. All profits will be going towards the Year 7/8 programme in 2019.
