Wonder what Oaklands School will look like when the redevelopment is finished?

Karen Mackie —

The bird’s eye view above shows the placement of buildings on the finished school site.

The numbered buildings are the new ones.

There are already no prefabricated buildings by the Cunningham Place side of the school. Since being removed, the bones of a new administration block (#1) and a new library and teaching space (#2) are taking their place. The third new building (3#) is where the junior playground used to stand, and by the end of this year will expand the space for teaching our junior students.

Each week we will update you on different aspects of the redevelopment including new technology elements, playgrounds and learning spaces.

Stories about the redevelopment have already featured in the Western News and the Halswell Community newsletter.
