Below is a summary of the learning from this week.

Maths

This week the children have been working with their kaitiaki teacher on learning around statistics. The children have been learning about how to conduct a statistical investigation and also interpret a range of graphs like tally charts, bar graphs, histograms and picture graphs.

Integrated Learning

This week the children have been demonstrating their understanding of the key concepts that have been covered this term. They have been challenged with a taking action project of creating a landmark that represents a culture or cultures. The children have been working in groups or on their own. They had the option of showing their learning through a drawing, Minecraft or with a construction.

Celebration of Learning

On Monday 3rd April, families are invited to a shared breakfast at school. This is also an opportunity for children to share their learning. Children are encouraged to bring along some food to share. Later in the day the children will visit other spaces to see what the other children have created in their taking action phase of Integrated Learning.
