Another busy week in Hub 5.

This week in Hub 5

Beep Test

Over the first three weeks of this term we have been running shuttles and relays to increase the students' fitness levels. On Friday we had the beep test and they all did really well in the heat. Thank goodness the clouds come out to help. 

Te Reo Quiz

Over the end of last term to this week the children have been learning Te Reo Maori and at the end of this they had their quiz day. They thoroughly enjoyed this.

South West Zones

Well done to all those students that represented Oaklands Primary School positively at the South West Zone. We are very proud of all the students.

Week 4

Literacy Week

Next week is literacy week. There will be many events and activities throughout the week. Wednesday will be dress up as your favourite book character day.

Upcoming City Trip - Monday 20th November

Thank you very much to those parents who have indicated they are able to accompany Hub 5 on our City Trip. 

We are looking for 5-6 more parents to come.  Could you email us with your name and phone number if you are able to help us out in this regard.

A note will come home to parent helpers on Monday 6th Nov detailing a time for an after school meeting about your involvement and responsibilities on the trip.
