We are excited to announce that we are having a Spring Fun Run in Week 9 for all students in Years 0-4. The races will start at 1:30 - 2:50pm. Whanau are invited to join us for a picnic lunch at 1pm and we hope you will stay to cheer your child/ren on.

All students are able to participate in a fun run on the field with small challenges along the way like jumping over obstacles, weaving through cones and going under obstacles. We do not expect that all children will be able to run the distance without stopping, however we do expect them to participate (run/walk) and show resilience by giving it a go. We will have separate races for boys and girls in their age or year level groups. 

Year 2 - 4 students can opt into a longer, competitive race around the school grounds.

Your child can wear their house colours and comfy running shoes for this event and earn house points by showing the CARE values.

In the event of bad weather this event will be postponed (the postponement date is Thursday 22 September) and you will be notified via Hero and the school app. 

We welcome whanau to come along and watch, connect with others and join us for a picnic lunch. The PTA will also be running a sausage sizzle. Attached is an order form that needs to be returned to your child's classroom teacher by 20th September.
