Who are the Student Leaders at Oaklands?
In the spirit of demonstrating our Community Value, we will be profiling two of the Student Leaders at Oaklands School each week.
This week we profile our two Head Peer Mediators. They play an important part in the delivery of Peer Mediation at Oaklands. They lead the team of student Peer Mediators who provide assistance with minor issues in the playground.
Name: Aysha Henderson

Some interesting facts/info about me: My name is Aysha. I am 12 years old and I am in the role of Head Mediator. Somethings that I enjoy doing are going to the beach, playing with my cousins and hanging out with my friends. I have been at Oaklands 8 ½ years, this year and I have really enjoyed it. I have had a lot of opportunities like getting to be Head Mediator and also getting to help out with the year ⅚ Winter Sport and lots of other things. Something I am looking forward to this year is getting to help out with events and also getting to help in the junior classrooms.

Some interesting facts/info about me: My name is Libby. I am 12 years old and am in the role of Head Mediator. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing volleyball and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with my 2 dogs, 1 cat and 3 canaries. I really enjoy being a Head Mediator because of all the opportunities I am given. Something I am looking forward to this year is helping with events and getting to help in the junior classrooms.
