Ivan Rush

Hi my name is Ivan Rush and I am the Caretaker at Oaklands School. I have been working at Oaklands for the past 2 years and I enjoy the variety of duties that I have here at Oaklands.

I live locally with my wife, son, dog, 2 cats, 2 birds and 2 horses! It's a very busy household. In my spare time I enjoy riding my Triumph America motorcycle and driving my wife's classic '67 Mustang.

Geoffrey McCallum

Hi! I’m Geoffrey McCallum and I began working at Oaklands School back in 2014 after the government closed the intermediate school I was teaching in. I am currently working as the Music teacher part-time and really enjoying the opportunity to teach across the school. I am married to Lauren and we have a son, a daughter, a cat and Lauren’s special needs brother who lives with us.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking the dog, doing the gardening, playing the piano for a group of special needs adults and watching sport (and playing the ‘crane’ game – from my daughter). My wife and I also enjoy being able to help others less fortunate than ourselves through a food and clothing ministry.
