On the 2nd of November the Oaklands School Athletics team competed at the South West Zone Athletics at Hillmorton. It was a great day and all of our children put their best effort forward. 

The children who placed in the top 3 in their events have now qualified for the Canterbury Event in Ashburton on Wednesday 6th of December.

Daniel Bristow: 4th 12 year old boys High Jump (Qualified)

Hailey Clark: 2nd 12 year old girls 60m

Wariesha Khan: 4th 12 year old girls 100m (Qualified)

Cormac Tobin: 1st 13 year old boys 1200m
