Congratulations to the Year 7 and 8 teams that competed in this year's Cantamath Competition.

This term for Mathematics in the Year 7&8 Hub we have been focusing on exploring the world of Mathematics through Photography, Tessellation and Static Models. Students were able to experience a taster session for all our year 7&8 Cantamath topics before choosing one they wanted to focus on. Students worked hard over a 4 weeks period and have produced some amazing pieces of work. Congratulations to both of year 7 and 8 teams who participated in the Cantamath competition on Wednesday 21st August.

Our Year 7 team did amazingly well and placed 10th equal with 85 points out of 100 against 72 other schools from Canterbury. Well done to Orlando, River, Beau and Kirill.

Our Year 8 team blew it out of the water and scored 95 out of 100 points, placing them 5th against 92 total schools! Congratulations to Ryan, Enzo, Declan and Lucas on their hard mahi!
