6B in 2024. Thanks for the memories
2024 has flown by and it is time to say farewell to the class of 6B
23 students and 1 teacher strong, 2024 has been a busy year with lots of exciting learning opportunities, sport, our camp to Living Springs and the many leadership opportunities snapped up by the eager and awesome 6B students.
Whilst many move into year 7 at Oaklands, a number depart to other schools for their further education, so it is a good time to reflect on what students have enjoyed this year.
From me it has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of their learning and life journeys. Everyone of them has left an indelibly positive mark on me which I will cherish. The personalities, the kindness, the chats, the highs and lows; they all come together to make 2024 a year I will remember fondly.
And from the students ... well, here is what they had to say...

One of my highlights for this year was getting new football goals and nets for playing football at break time. Normally it would be harder to play without any goals but now it is much more fun. I really the Living Springs camp especially the archery tag because I found it the best activity to do.
