Our main highlight is the library reopening. The end of Term 2 saw the children being able to come and get books at morning tea and lunch intervals. Term 3 saw classes returning. Very exciting for everyone.

Thanks to Holly and Arsh who led a great team of Librarians:

Isabella, Michelle, Lukas, Zubia, Isis, Callum, Rae Anne, Daniel, Malakai, Willow, Jaydeep, Angel, Elise, Liam, Patrick and Cameron.

Arsh organised a working bee to make Elmer elephants to brighten up the library. 

The most popular books in the library this year have been:

Picture books: Barbie, Lego, Great Galloping Galoot.

Junior Fiction: Ella and Olivia, The Twits, Star Wars.

Fiction: Wimpy Kid, Ella Diaries, Minecraft, My Story series

Graphic Novels: Amulet series, Babysitters, Little Sister, Smile.

Non Fiction: Where's Wally, Animals, Search and Find books.

The Year 1/2 Book Club Bandits came to the library to research an animal and then made a book of facts.  We were lucky to have these on display for others to read. 

Unfortunately we had to cancel our Kiwiana Book week due to COVID but watch out for this to happen again next year. 

It is great to see children sharing and reading to one another.
