The past week has been an exciting time at Oaklands as we have started a number of construction projects.

In the weekend we removed the junior playground to enable the building of the new classrooms.  The student council are comparing two different playground options to pick one for the  replacement of both the junior and middle playgrounds.

We also have the administration area being remodelled.  This means we now have 3 construction sites.  These areas have all been fenced off to ensure the safety of the students.   There are regular property meetings to ensure the progress of the rebuild is shared with the school.  There will be many builders on  the site during the holidays.  

We ask that you supervise your child on the school site either after school or during the holidays as there will be many builders present.  We have noticed a number of students on the school grounds after schools unsupervised. Unless your child is in the Oscar programme we ask that students are not on site to enable the builders to have full access to the buildings after 3.15pm each day after school.
