Taiheke - Koru Games

Sarah Baker —

The Koru Games is a South Island Year 7 & 8 multi-day sports tournament hosted by Selwyn Sports Trust in the Selwyn District.

We have had a very busy 3 days at the Koru Games tournament! We had 10 teams entered across different sports - 2 x touch rugby, 2 x ultimate frisbee, 4 x volleyball, 1 x korfball and 1 x badminton.

This year was the first year we have entered teams into the Badminton, Korfball and Ultimate Frisbee competitions. Amazing to see students excited to have a go at a new sport, and even more amazing to have gold medals come home with one of our ultimate frisbee teams!

All teams and players had a fabulous 3 days - a huge congratulations to all involved!
