Our students get the opportunity to learn about our green thumbs with our big year 7 and 8 buddies

Every Friday our year one students are apart of a big buddy programme with the year 7 and 8 students. It is a programme that has mutual learning opportunities which promotes leadership and teaching relationships for our older students. Our year one students are exploring their learning with small numbers and in this instance exploring their environment of the garden. Our garden to table programme shows our students the process of growing, harvesting, preparing, cooking and of course eating food. Room 17 looks forward to this session every week. It is really exciting to see our students so engaged in hands on learning.
