2022 end of season. As he gears up for 2023

As the move to winter sport is upon us, and with Oaklands entering students into the Primary Sport Canterbury Winter Sport programme, we focus on the awesome Levi Bucklan.

Last year Levi played for Kirwee in the Under 10 grade, and had a really successful year. He loves his rugby and received some awards at the prize giving at the end of last year's season.

We interviewed Levi, and this is what he had to say.

I put hard work into playing rugby. I train every Wednesday and always give my all. I always try to help other people.

Rugby is a great sport. It let's me get all my energy out. I leave everything on the field.

You should try because it is a fun sport and your teammates are very supportive.

My favourite player is Richie McCall (this is also Mr Forman's favourite).
