The students have shared their reflections and highlights on their learning activities for 2016.

Jak - Atheltics, beacuse I got 4 placings in the running activities and going to the Canterbury Athletics.

Johanna - Waipara Camp,  because I conquered my fear of heights by climbing down the rock wall.

Riley - My highlight from this year was coming 1st in girls high jump at the school athletics because  I have never come first in a sport for school and I was very proud :)

Ella - My highlight was Waipara camp because it was fun and exciting experience to have and I really enjoyed it.

Brianna - Learning more than I did last year because I didn't think that I was doing that good last year.

Oleg - My highlight has been Maths learning because I really love Maths.

Sadiyah - Being part of the lunch order team and getting my Gold CARE award.  Being part of the lunch team was a bit hard sorting the jobs but I think it was fun taking on this responsibility. I think I followed all of the values to get my Gold award.

Ethan - Integrated Learning, Dream Big - my plan for the future of Oaklands School because I got to use my researching skills and I got to create my ideas.

Daniel T - My highlight was the Waipara Camp because we went to the lake to swim and kayak.

Siobhan - My highlight was the Waipara Camp because I had an amazing time and I achieved a goal I set because I made a new friend.

Annabelle -  Art activities because I love art.  

Sam - Rebuilding Oaklands School because we got to make a model of a classroom that we would like to have in the future. I also enjoyed working as part of a group and sharing ideas.

James - My highlight was Algebra because I have learnt a lot of Maths because of algebra.

Noah - Swimming Lessons because I have learnt a lot of skills in the 2 weeks of doing it and I like learning swimming skills.

Logan K - It's  really exciting getting the asttle test results back to see how much you have improved.

Caitlin - Senior Choir because I did not know how to sing but now I do.

Charlotte - Waipara Camp because I made new friends,  I tried new things and I enjoyed myself.

Logan P - Writing my Superhero story is my highlight because it was interesting and fun to come up with a superhero and write about it.

Kynan - Waipara Camp because we learnt a lot of survival skills and the activities were really fun.

Daniel J - The Year 6 Camp at Waipara because we got to play lots of games and have fun with our friends. We got to see a lot of things.

Jordan - Focusing on my own work and not relying on others to help me all the time.

Joel - Waipara Camp  becauseI liked going fast on the water slide and swinging on the rope swing.

Andrei - Maths activities because I love Maths more than anything, it is hard but fun to do.

Liam - The Year 6 camp at Waipara because I like doing activities outside.

Franz - Swimming Lessons because I learnt how to swim better.

Shivanah - Maths because Mrs Patten made the activities more fun.
