As you know, the Oaklands School Twilight GALA will be held on Friday 2nd December. The GALA will be a recognition of our community and will have loads of fun activities and fundraisers which will directly benefit your child in the classroom.

We have organised a Mufti-Day for the students on Friday 21st October and are asking each

student to donate one item for our GALA luxury raffle hampers. We would appreciate non-

perishable food items and have divided up our classes so we can create stunning hampers for

the raffle this year.

Year 0 – 1 Kitchen items

(eg: sauces, jams, pickles, oils, coffee beans, hot chocolate & marshmallows,

tea towels, kitchen utensils such as whisks, mixing spoons, luxury kitchen

hamper items etc)

Year 2 Laundry / Cleaning / Bathroom items

(eg: cleaning products, laundry powder, pegs etc)

Year 3 Confectionery items

(but no chocolate please)

Year 4 Garden / Shed / Outdoor items

(anything to do with the outdoors and garden)

Year 5 – 6 Spa / Beauty items

(eg: hand-cream, body wash, bath salts, hair product, massage oil, candles etc)

Year 7 – 8 Christmas themed items

(eg: decorations, shortbread, Xmas crackers, Xmas cakes, luxury hamper items)

If each of our students are able to donate one item for each theme, we will have some really

gorgeous hampers to raffle off at the GALA.
