Wedding, Weddings, Weddings!
Today, was a special day in the Year 7/8 Hub. We have celebrated a momentous moment in our hub this year of Sarah getting married.
Today, even though it was short, it was an amazing morning of wedding themed activities. Miss Berquist was walked down the isle, we had wedding dresses made out of toilet paper and the cutting of the cake. In Sarah's words "It's been great having so much fun after being so unwell".
We would like to thank all of the students for their efforts in the classroom in making this morning an enjoyable time. We would also like to thank all of the parents that were able to contribute to Sarah's gift, she absolutely loved it.
Lance and I would also like to acknowledge all of the hard work and effort Manda Hill has put into this day as well. It gave a females perspective which it also needed, thanks Manda! We would like to thank the families that have made wedding cakes for Sarah to cut. Sarah really enjoyed the practice, although the students were a bit skeptical about holding hands to cut the cake.
Sarah, we look forward to seeing you get married and and returning next term as Mrs Baker. We are also looking forward to seeing all of the photos and hearing the stories!
Enjoy your wedding!
