Check out whats been happening in the Year 4 Hub!

We have had an enjoyable week this week. 

This week our main focus has been on our integrated topic and completing our projects. 

We have spent the term looking at community and what it means to be part of a community. This week the children got to choose between making a slide show of another country or designing and developing a Skatepark for their community.  They came up with some really great designs. 

Writing - We continued our instructions and developed a disgusting Monster soup. 

The Arts- We have continued with our Arts programme this week. 

Mr Sy - Music and Rad Rhythm learning how to keep to the beat when drumming. 

Miss Brennan - Visual Art where the children have developed some amazing Tiki designs. 

Miss Brash - Drama and Dance where we practiced our dance moves and learnt how dance can be an effective tool in performances. 

Thank you all for such a great turn out for Thursdays breakfast we really appreciated it! 

Basketball - Mr Sy and Miss Brash were part of the teachers basketball team in the game against the year 7/8s Friday. Miss Brash got one basket but Mr Sy was man of the match! 

Farewell - Riley is going to a new school, we will miss him very much in the Year 4 Hub. Good luck and we hope you enjoy your new school.
