HALSWELL HORNETS

 It's not too late to join in the fun! The Halswell Hornets 8 years rugby league team is looking for some extra players aged 7 or 8 years old to join our team (to be eligible to join the team a child must not turn 9 prior to and including 31 December 2016).

We are a recently formed team having played two games together. Many of the team members are new to rugby league and to the club. We have a great set of kids, parents and a wonderful coach and assistant coach. We practise every Wednesday evening at Halswell Domain and the majority of games are played at Canterbury Agricultural Park. Please get in contact with the team manager Kiriana 027 7733-124 if your child is interested in joining the team or if you would like further information.

Clarkville School presents 'Scared Scriptless'

An evening not to be missed, full of belly laughter! Christchurch favourites - The Court Jesters - are back at Clarkville School, bringing their hilarious comedy show for adults 'Scared Scriptless'.

A cast of quick-thinking improvisers working with no scripts and turning audience suggestions into a fast-paced, furiously funny interactive comedy extravaganza.

The show starts at 7:30pm with pre-show drinks and food available from 6:30pm. Some food options to be pre-ordered via our facebook page. Drinks and food available for purchase throughout the evening with Eft-pos on site.
