2018 has been another successful year for the Oaklands School senior choir. This year, the senior choir has gone from strength to strength with our numbers growing to almost 100 choristers. Check out this article for some of our highlights.

Eva M

Some of my highlights in choir this year was how we have got better and better with our singing. I enjoyed the song ‘A million dreams’. I think that the best performance that we did was the Gala one even though the music turned off.

Some of my highlights in choir this year was singing the song ‘A Million Dreams’. I like when we did the Gala song even though the music turned off.

Erica

I have enjoyed doing the choir performances at assemblies this year. I like that I can sing alongside my friends. I also really like the Karaoke time at the end of our practices.

Sophie W

I have enjoyed performing ‘This is me’ as we sounded really good together. I have also enjoyed singing lots of songs that I have not sung before. I enjoyed performing at the Gala.

Anika 

I enjoyed doing choir karaoke because we got to sing songs that we like.

Amber

This year I liked doing solo because we hav not done solo before. I also liked doing karaoke because we got to sing songs that other people like.

Anna-Bella

I have liked enjoyed doing a solo because I enjoy singing in front of people.

Madison

I enjoyed the GALA performance this year because we got to sing with the younger children. I also liked the different transitions we did for our performance.

Zara

I liked all the singing and all the performance.

Mya

I enjoyed just singing and listening to music.

Sasha

I liked singing and learning all the songs.
