This past week the Year 8s have been in our nation's capital.

While in Wellington the Year 8s:

• Went to the National War Memorial where they learnt about WW1 and participated in the Last Post ceremony.
  
• Had a tour of Parliament, conducted a role play where they debated a bill and went to the Public Gallery and observed the fiery Question Time session.
• Created a 3D game and Television show at Capital E. Check out the video links below.
• Explored Te Papa, including the Gallipoli exhibit.
• Went to the National Library and viewed the original Treaty of Waitangi documents as well as the Women's Suffrage petition.
