The Year 7 students had their camp at Glentui on the Wednesday 3rd May through to Friday 5th of May.

On the first day the Year 7 students arrived at Glentui, they all sorted their gear into their bunk rooms. Then were taking up the road to the base of Mt Richardson. 

The students made it to about half way up Mt Richardson when it started to drizzle and the call was made to head back down for safety.

That evening the students had the opportunity to enjoy roasting marshmallows.

On the second day the students broke up into their activity groups. They rotated around Archery Tag, Scavenger hunt, Games and the River Walk.

In the evening the students played Minute to Win it, congratulations to all those that finished the challenges.

On the final day, we all cleaned the Glentui Bunkrooms and prepared to leave.

What was your highlight from the Year 7 Glentui Camp?

- My highlight of the Glentui camp was spotlight because we finally bet the teachers and we bet them 3 times.

- To find a giant spider because I like spiders and I found a VERY LARGE one.

- My highlight form the Glentui camp was when we were walking up mount Richardson and there was lots of mud unlike everyone else who had to avoiding it I was able to walk right through cause I was wearing my hiking boots.

- My highlight from the Glentui camp was spotlight because it was very enjoyable and I was using others to hide behind to get closer.

- My highlight from the Glentui camp was the river walk because we made a dam with rocks and when we made it I fell in.

What surprised you at the Glentui Camp?

- Something that surprised me at the Glentui camp was how nice the mattresses were at camp because usually the mattresses are so uncomfy but they were super duper comfortable and easy to sleep on they were.

- Something that surprised me at Glentui camp was how hard it was to walk up and down the stairs to the river because it was very tiring and up and down Mount Richardson.

- Something that surprised me at Glentui camp was the food. It surprised me because it was so yummy and fulling. Another thing that surprised me was all the cool things the teachers hosted like minute to win it and how the teachers managed all the activities except archery tag.

What challenged you the most at Glentui Camp?

- Something that challenged me at Glentui camp was the stairs because we have to walk down and up again for the roasting marshmallows and playing spotlight on the second night.

- The activity that most challenged me was the Scavenger Hunt. This was because I had a very hard time climbing up the stairs and down the stairs multiple times with our group. Although it really did test my fitness level, I was completely drained afterwards. Not to mention that we were to climb the stairs several times daily.

- Something that challenged me At Glentui camp was walking up and down the the stairs constantly and felling like I was going to die.
