George

My highlight was Integrated Learning because we got to choose our own way to represent our learning and it was fun.

Alexis

My highlight was learning more about the Maori Culture in our Integrated Learning. It helps me discover my own Maori culture when i’m older.

Jeana

My highlight was learning how to write more Super Sentences with more adverbs and adjectives so the reader remains interested.

Connagh

My highlight was Integrated Learning because I got to do Drama and represent a Maori Myth or Legend with my group.

My highlight was learning about The Lorax - Sustainability, Pollution, and about what trees do for our environment.

My highlight was representing my learning about Maori Myth and Legends on Minecraft and building the houses.

My highlight was studying and creating poetry during the lockdown for our Literacy learning. My favourite was the Autumn poems.

My highlight was creating my diorama for Integrated Learning about a scene from Rona and the Moon and Silent Reading.

My highlight was sharing my learning about Maoi Myths and Legends on Minecraft and working with Laken and Jayden.

My highlight was participating in Kelly Sport practising my small ball skills and playing Tricky Tag.

My highlight was Maths learning about Geometry and Shape. I also enjoyed learning about the Zones of Regulation.

My highlight was making my diorama for Integrated Learning. My scene is from Rona and the Moon.

My highlight was making my diorama because I am good at constructing them from last year. My scene is from Rone and the Moon.

My highlight was doing Drama with Mrs McLeod because it was interesting and I enjoyed making my own version of a Myth.

My highlight was Kelly sport because we got to have fun as a class learning new skills.

My highlight was Kelly sport because I liked getting better at my small ball skills - throwing a tennis ball from one hand to another.

My highlight was making my Koru Art using different coloured Oil Pastels.

My highlight was Integrated learning because I like making my diorama with all of the supplies to create my scene from Rona and the Moon.

My highlight was using my knowledge I have learnt about Maori Myths and Legends to create a similar world on Minecraft.

My highlight was Integrated Learning, drawing and colouring the shadow puppets for our play of “How the Kiwi Lost Its Wings”.

My highlight was doing Minecraft for retelling a Maori Legend. I retold “How Maui Slowed the Sun”. I enjoyed it because I love playing Minecraft.

My highlight was doing the Koru art because it was fun. I am proud of the background because of the colours, peach and dark green.

My highlight was using Minecraft in Integrated Learning to retell the Maori legend of “How Maui Slowed the Sun”. I am proud of my sun because I made lava on the sun that wouldn’t flow out, to show it was hot.

My highlight was doing our Integrated Learning. I used Minecraft with my group to retell the legend of Mauri and the Sun. We made good progress on the project and building the sun allowed us to use different techniques e.g. use of fire and different blocks.

My highlight was doing the Kelly Sports programme. I liked playing Tricky Tag and throwing and catching the tennis and clapping at the same time. I enjoyed the running activities we did each lesson, too.

My highlight was Integrated Learning and creating a diorama to tell the story of “Rona and the Moon.” I am proud of how the mountains turned out, they were made with plastic cups which were covered with paper mache and then painted.

My highlight was learning about Maori myths and legends. I enjoyed making the clay characters and working on the background with Emma. We made a Stop Motion animation about Rona and the Moon.

My highlight was doing the Koru art because it was fun designing and drawing the koru patterns. I am proud that I finished on time and I liked how the colours were light and dark and looked great together.

My highlight was Integrated Learning because we worked together and made a puppet show out of paper and a box. We retold the story of “How the Kiwi Lost Its Wings.”

My highlight was creating the puppet show of “How the Kiwi Lost Its Wings.” It was hard highlighting the words that each person was saying, it took a long time. I am proud of the puppets we made, they are looking really good.

My highlight was creating my Koru art design. It was hard colouring in with the pastels as I didn’t want to go over the chalk line. I am proud of the little korus I drew in the corners of the leaf.

My highlight was learning about the koru and creating the Koru art. I was proud of what it looked like when it was coloured and dyed.

My highlight was doing Minecraft for Integrated Learning. I used Minecraft to retell the story of Maui and the Sun. I was proud when we finished because I could share it with people.

My highlight was Kelly Sports because we were learning all about how to throw and catch a ball properly.

My highlight was Integrated Learning and getting on with my work. I created a diorama of “Rona and the Moon.” I’m proud of how well I did with painting the background and the hills.

My highlight was Integrated Learning because I learnt how to make a Stop Motion movie of the story “Maui and the Goddess of Fire.” It was hard to taking the photographs and not get our hands in the way.

My highlight was making my diorama about Rona and the Moon. I learnt how to use cups and scrap paper to make the hills.

Mateen

My highlight was creating the Koru art because I could design koru patterns and make the lines thick with chalk and then colour in with pastel. I finished it off by covering the chalk lines with black dye. It looks cool.

Maxim

My highlight was creating a Stop Motion animation of “Maui and the Goddess of Fire.” It was challenging making the characters out of playdough and I’m proud of how our photos came out.

Oakley

My highlight was Integrated Learning and creating a Stop Motion animation of “The Fish of Maui.” I really enjoyed creating the characters out of playdough.

Olive

My highlight was making my diorama of the legend “How Maui Slowed the Sun.” I liked painting it and I found it tricky to make the ropes because I plaited them.

Peyton

My highlight was the Kelly Sports programme because it was fun learning the games. I enjoyed the Rainbow activity for throwing a ball.

My highlight was Integrated Learning because my group created a diorama of “Maui and the Sun.” I enjoyed painting the diorama and am proud of what it looks like.

My highlight was making the diorama of “Maui and the Sun” with my group. I like making the ropes out of string and attaching them to the sun.

My highlight has been doing the Kelly Sports Programme because I learnt how to juggle within 1 week. This helps me improve my catching skills.

My highlight has been doing the Kelly Sports Programme because we learnt a lot of new activities. I really enjoyed learning to juggle 2 balls and I also enjoyed doing a lot of running.

My highlight was creating my koru art design. I like the rainbow koru design that I drew.
