A look back at the week that was!

Writing

This week we started our MASSIVE writing project. We are learning about narrative writing and we are creating a chapter book each.

This week we have been describing the characters in our story and learning the literacy words for these characters. We described our main character (the protagonist), the villain (the antagonist), and two other (support) characters. 

Topic

We are learning about health and wellbeing as our topic this term. We have been learning about the Food Pyramid and what kinds of food we should be eating to stay healthy.

PE

This term we are learning about athletics and fitness. For PE on Fridays we are doing fitness circuits. 2AH and 2EC had a go today and we were absolutely exhausted after!

Gala Performance

We have began practicing for our Gala dance performance, we are already looking pretty good!

New Playground

We are loving the new playground, the spinner in particular is very popular! If you are having a play after school please remember to follow the school rules for the playground. Take turns, share the equipment, use the equipment properly.

Miss Tyler

Miss Tyler is our student teacher for the first half of Term 4. Feel free to come and introduce yourself.

What's Coming Up..?

- Labour Day on Monday so school is closed

- The Year 2 teachers will be on CRT on Tuesday so the CRT Reliever Team will be in class

- Mr Horn and Miss Macfarlane will also be out of of class on Wednesday

- Don't forget to keep bringing your named hats to school every day!
